Fujairah FC delivered one of its boldest performances of the season, overturning a two-goal deficit to claim a thrilling victory over league leaders Dibba Al-Hisn in the postponed match of Round Three of the First Division League. The match was hosted at Fujairah Club International Stadium in front of an impressive crowd, in a high-profile encounter expertly officiated by international referee Ahmed Issa Darwish.
A difficult start and early lead for the visitors
International referee Ahmed Issa Darwish managed the match with authority, as the visiting side caught Fujairah’s defense off guard with an early goal by striker Okasha Hamzawi in the 13th minute. Just six minutes later, his Brazilian teammate Lucas Rocha doubled the lead, leaving the Wolves two goals behind in a short span. Despite the tough start, the team’s structure remained solid and coach Kamal Tsali’s plans were unaffected. Fujairah continued to press and search for a comeback, which came in the 29th minute when striker Abdullah Anwar reduced the deficit. The first half ended with Dibba Al-Hisn leading 2–1.
Second half: relentless determination by the Wolves
At the start of the second half, Fujairah pushed forward aggressively in search of an equalizer, dominating play and creating several dangerous chances. In the 80th minute, captain Walid Fallah restored parity with a superb header from a corner kick. As the match appeared to be heading toward a draw, substitute Ervin Taha snatched the winning goal in the third minute of stoppage time (90+3), a dramatic moment that ignited the stands and reflected the team’s fighting spirit and resilience until the final whistle.

Fujairah earned three valuable points that helped restore balance to their campaign. With this win, Fujairah raised their tally to 11 points, moving up to ninth place jointly with Al-Hamriyah, and cutting the gap to league leaders Dibba Al-Hisn to just five points.
